Father's Day Gift Suggestions
Being a father of one child, being close to my dad and having met a lot of dads (rich dad and poor dads, lolz) I can somehow relate to them and notice a few things we have in common. The following suggestions are based on the common things I found out dads.
Most Dads prefer to stay at home - As much as we take pride on taking our wife and children out, we usually just prefer to stay at home and celebrate with family. Perhaps the best gift you could ever give a dad on father's day is some hugs and kisses.
Most Dads are appreciative on small things - You don't have to spend a lot to make us happy. We usually love to be given something that has a special meaning. A coffee mug for example that we could use everyday would mostly suffice. If your dad is a techie like myself, it might be a good idea to give him a gift that would take care of his gadgets.
Most Dads are about practicality - I noticed that most dads prefer to have things that has some use or can be used everyday. I like being given a new jacket, a new cap or T-Shirt. Yeah, I'd probably like something that says "Big Daddy", "Sexy Dad", "Software Dad", "McDaddy", "Rich Dad" not "Poor Dad" please...,
Most Dads love sports - Dads are boys and most boys love sports. How about giving him a gift that has something to do with his favorite NBA team or his favorite football player?
Most Dads love to eat - There is some truth to the saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Yes, give us our favorite food!
Father's Day Quotes
Alright, here are some quotes that I tried to derive from other quotes while some I made on my own.
"Remember who you are... You are my dad, and the one true king." - Derived this one from Lion King's "Remember who you are... You are my son, and the one true king".
"I tried to google "Dad", and you were the first result." - This one just popped up my mind. Every modern dad should be able to relate. :)
"Good job dad, you made a masterpiece in me." - Uhmmm.. Seriously, I think my dad made a masterpiece in me. :)
"You always stood up for me in tough times... My dad, my hero." - Dads are usually perceived as hero, make them feel by saying so. :)
I just made a blog post about the best dad in the world, you can find it at www.[PUT SOMETHING CREATIVE HERE]
Happy Father's Day to my Dad who's the greatest musician I've ever met in my life. Thank you for all the guidance and story of the bible. I promise, I will not depart from your teachings.
